Professional Career
Renee’ has 32 years teaching experience. She is a former instructional specialist with the Kentucky Department of Education. She led the Southeast/South Central Region Kentucky Department of Education Leadership Network system. Renee’ provided statewide support for the Mathematics Design Collaborative. She provided job embedded professional learning throughout Kentucky. Renee’ has had extensive training with Cognitive Coaching with the Kentucky Center of Mathematics. Before joining KDE, Renee’ was an elementary curriculum resource teacher and mathematics coach and was an elementary classroom teacher. She earned the National Board Certification in 2007 and renewed in 2017. She has presented at local, regional, state, and national conferences.
